This is a very nice home full of light, breeze, colors and art on the Westside. Our townhouse is located on the border of Mar Vista and Venice Beach. There are good restaurants, bars, coffee shop, yoga and a bookstore walking distance or you can jump on the bike and be at the beach in 15 minutes. You can take a scenic rout through Beethoven Street that turns into Rose Avenue. It takes about 5 minutes to drive to Venice Beach and about 10 15 minutes to Santa Monica. This location is also great for visiting interesting places all around LA as we are 7 minutes away from 405 and 10 minutes away from 10 freeways. One bedroom is located downstairs and has its own bathroom with marble shower and French doors which open into a nice green area. It has a full size futon bed that is very comfortable to sleep on as well as a small closet. On the second floor we have a kitchen with stainless steal appliances in great condition, dining room and living room. Living room has a gas fireplace, French doors and a balcony with a lovely view. While there is no TV, we have a projector with screen and lots of great DVDs to watch. There is also a stereo in the living room. The master bedroom is on the 3rd floor so you have a complete privacy from the other bedroom. It has VERY high ceilings, French doors and a gorgeous Indian hand carved bed with a canopy (see pics). This bedroom has a closet and a Jacuzzi bath in the master bathroom. It also has a fireplace and a balcony with a nice view. Due to many stairs at our place, we'd say it is best for kids over 3 4 years of age.We don't normally offer this room, but it is available upon request and will cost a small amount extra to use. Another flight of stairs up and you are on a rooftop terrace with 360 degrees city view of Los Angeles. Among other things, you can spot the ocean, Hollywood sign and Getty Museum from there. The terrace has a table, 6 comfy rotating chairs, great city views, BBq and a colorful Thai umbrella to top it off. We have 2 mountain bikes available for use as well as 1 parking spot in the garage. If you have more than one car, street parking is never a problem. We have nice neighbors and our place is very quiet and has a great energy. We'll provide a list of our favorite restaurants, shops, bars and places of interest in the area for adults and for kids. And last, but not least, we have a super friendly cat, Shusha, who is around at times. She is inside/outside cat so she does all her business outside at an unknown location and only comes to sleep and eat. She does not have long hair so hardly sheds and prefers to be not seen.
